We know the Arvada Faith Community has been serving the unhoused for decades. However,
most of that service has happened in 'silos', without the benefit of strategic coordination.
That's why our mission is:
To improve communication and collaboration in the Arvada Faith Community in order
to better serve the unhoused
We've built this system primarily to serve Mission Arvada, the single largest provider of direct services for the unhoused in Arvada.
Helping Mission ArvadaThe key to our success is seemlessly coordinating the providers of direct services with the organizations that can support them
Church Coordinator ProgramOur model is a little different from what we've seen on other volunteer sites.
Here you can identify the things you want to do, and then you'll get notified when organizations in Arvada ask for volunteers in one of the areas you selected.
You can also pick time slots by day and we'll let you know what's happening when you're available!
We're getting dialed into the faith organizations in Arvada. They send people to this site to sign up for the kinds of things you need.
We manage the list of folks from across all faiths as well as the secular public. And we encourage folks to spread the word so friends and family hear about us too.
When it comes time for your event, post here and we'll reach out to everyone who's indicated interest in that activity.
Whether you have time to give or need help organizing volunteers, there's a place for you here.
